Six Weeks

It is time to meet more family members, yeah! Cousin Kyson and cousin Sayla made Aunt Heather and Uncle Kip drive them to SC so we could meet. I was so excited! I also had a chance to meet Aunt Susan and Uncle Thomas as well. You know how some people say 6 weeks can be a rough week for babies, you can add me to the list! My nose continued to get stuffy and I was having some trouble breathing in the mornings it was so bad. My tummy aches were also getting worse, so goodbye sleep at night for me. I started waking up a lot and having trouble falling back asleep. I still tried hard to be happy during the day and take naps for mommy, but I just didn't feel good. We went to the doctor and she said the congestion was because of reflux. I was drinking too much milk too fast and my little body didn't like it. Back to see our lactation consultant to see if she could help with the issue. The culprit: mommy has oversupply and overactive letdown. I will let her tell you about that later, but we both had a lot of work to do to get this thing under control! By the end of the week I am feeling much better and I am starting to sleep longer at night again. Mommy and I are roommates now in my nursery so she can take care of me during the night without waking daddy. My daytime naps are still short, but I am happy in the mornings. The evenings are rough for me; my tummy hurts and I am tired! Mommy and daddy are helping me through this though and each day gets a little better. Mommy started putting me in the Moby and it really helps my tummy feel better. I also sleep well snuggled up next to her. Oh yeah, I almost forgot! My first Easter! It was so fun! I took Easter pictures and went on an Easter Egg Hunt with my cousins. I will let mommy post those pictures and tell you all about it.  Oh, I wanted everyone to see these pictures of Sayla changing my diaper.  She is two and if she can change cloth, anyone can! It was so fun to play with my cousins for the weekend, I miss them already.  They brought me toys while to look at, read me books, sang songs, and even rocked me.  I also convinced mommy to post of picture of us together, she had to show daddy how to hold the "big" camera to get this one!  I fell asleep in the process.
