Day 19

I have started to wear some of the 0-3 month clothes that my friend Jake let me borrow. I picked out this cute outfit because some more friends were coming by to bring dinner. We have really been blessed by all the food people are bringing...I even enjoy it a few hours later. Mommy and I played on the floor for a little while on the blanket that Aunt Susan made before the guests arrived. Mary Ann and Ben brought an awesome shrimp orzo dish and some cheese biscuits. They are going to have a little boy soon and so I was (and always am) really sweet while they were here.

Mommy has been drying my diapers outside to save energy.  She has set up a system that works well for anyone that is thinking of using cloth.  She puts them in the washer (shaking out the liners, shaking out the flats so they aren't all folded up, and checking the velcro taps on the thirsties) first thing in the morning while daddy plays with me.  Then, she has to get them drying on the line and rack by 11:00 am.  She brings them in to fold them in the evening and puts the all-in-one diapers in the dryer with the wipes and liners for 20 minutes to make sure they are all dry.  Washing diapers is on the schedule for every other day right and the diaper pail liner gets washed every fourth day, although I did see her hang it out on the line to air out and place the diaper pail outside for some fresh air as well.  It is working well so far and my little bottom is much more comfortable (and cute) in cloth.

Day 3 receiving a package! This one is from mommy's friend Chrissy in NC.  They grew up together and she has a cute girl named Mara and baby boy on the way.
