Day 3

On Monday, they gave me a "get out of jail pass" so we could go home...yeah! First I had to see the pediatrician though and go through a little procedure. I didn't cry much,  but it wasn't really much fun either.  The nurse checked my Bilirubin level and it was at level 11, so they scheduled an appointment for me to see my pediatrician first thing Tuesday morning. I wasn't really planning to meet her so soon, but at least they would still let me go home.  Mommy and daddy had to readjust the car-seat because it was too big for me. They had the whole room packed up and ready to go by 11:00 even though we didn't leave until 2:00.  I was excited too!  Sounds like I will be living in a cool house, so I wanted to check it out. Mommy rode in the back of the car with me on the way home and daddy drove.  It was raining outside, but it stopped when it was my turn to get in the car.  I slept in a cradle beside the bed my first night home...well really I slept in mommy or daddy's arms.  I did lay in the cradle a few times...it wasn't bad really! Being home was so much nicer than being in the hospital.  Oh yeah...check out my cool outfit to the side there. It was a little big, but Mimi and Aunt Heather picked it out for me to wear home.  Thanks for the clothes!
